Nori seaweed

01458

Nori seaweed (Porphyra umbilicales), widely known for making sushi, is small in size, with folds, and has a reddish or purple color that turns black when dried and tends to turn green when cooked.

For this purpose, we sell it in the form of sheets, which are obtained by crushing and pressing the Nori seaweed.

In addition to being used (in sheets) for sushi, it is also very practical to consume it in flake form as it does not need to be cooked.

Nori seaweed has a very mild flavor, and we can sprinkle it (about a teaspoon) over rice, pasta, salads, soups, etc.
